Introduction	I am an elementary educator. Each year as the school year begins I am often reminded of my first year teaching and the lack of classroom management I had. I was so frustrated that year, not only because the students were misbehaving, but also because I couldn't effectively teach rules and procedures. The following summer I attended classroom management professional development sessions, met with veteran teachers, and read books about establishing classroom management. I combined all of that with how I wanted my classroom to run. My second year of teaching was spectacular! For the past four year I been training teachers how to set up procedures, rules, and routines in the classroom to help new teachers combat student misbehavior and create a productive learning environment.
