| Introduction | Welcome, My name is Heidi and I am the mother of a T1 Diabetic, Mattie!! Mattie was diagnosed when she was 6 and she is now 11. Mattie was also diagnosed with epilepsy. It has been a real bumpy road at times, but we just try to take one day at a time. Mattie is working on getting back on her insulin pump. Her A1C went really high while she was on the pump, so mean MOM took her off! Mattie is fun, sweet and amazingly strong. She is MY HERO! |
