| Introduction | Who am I? I'm Jana, a single, straight and thirty-something-ish gal with rather eclectic interests. I've discovered I'm a great disappointment to many female family members because I didn't follow in their footsteps and marry at 19. Whatever. That makes me the smart one--no divorce settlements or crumbling wedding dresses cluttering up my closet. And no snotty noses to clean, or vomit to mop. I like kids--have a 9-year-old nephew and three god-children I adore--but I love the peace and quiet after they've gone home. So sit back, relax, try not to let the laptop fry your thighs, and get ready to read about my life, my family, and the crazy world that manages to contain it.
