Introduction	I am a Mom, PhD-level marriage and family therapist at Sea-Change MFT http://seachangemft.com/, research scientist and author, a pretty darn good cook, a music lover who loves to sing, and a sometime university instructor. A few years ago, I met the love of my life, an amazing man and talented photographer, and we live in our cottage near the sea with my brilliant and beautiful college-aged daughters (now just on some weekends) and our dog, Chase. In days gone by, I have been an electrical engineer who helped design super secret communications systems; an award-winning Siberian Husky fancier who competed in shows, obedience trials, and sled dog races all over the US and Canada; a doctor's wife to my high school sweetheart; expert pit crew for track, bicycle, and triathlon racing; a divorced mom with two baby girls; a pianist; and once upon a time, a runner and high jumper. Several years ago, life made one full circle, back to my awesome home-town Redondo Beach/Hermosa Beach, California, after too many years away. With so many different facets of life, my blogging is a fun way to collect and connect my eclectic life.
