| Introduction | Edipeni Batik was established in the year 2000, by Agnes S, a textile entrepreneur. Agnes' aim is to source the most innovative designs and high quality material, providing the worldwide market with genuine Indonesian craftmanship and aesthetics. All of the batik instore is authentic,and handcrafted by local Javanese textile artists, using original techniques dating back from the 15th century. Edipeni Batik does NOT sell mass produced batik - the stock featured on this website are part of limited edition ranges. Edipeni Batik stock is sourced from Central Java, from cities such as Solo,Pekalongan,Yogyakarta and Madura. Edipeni batik is based in Jakarta, Indonesia.
