| Introduction | I am what some would consider a stay-at-home mom. I assure you though, my life is anything but... I am heavily involved in my family's construction business. I mostly work on special projects for Dad, although I do have specific duties that must be taken care of each week. I work all day on Thursdays, and oftentimes from home during the rest of the week. I have a small sewing business where I make custom window treatments, bedding, and home furnishings. Of course, I get random alteration jobs, etc. as well. I am the book-keeper for a small church as well as do consulting for several other businesses/churches. I am involved with a Crisis Pregnancy Center and am currently helping coordinate their annual fund-raising banquet. When it's over, they'll find me another project. My husband and I are home-educating our children. We started our oldest in first grade in the 2009-2010 school year. Yeah, I stay busy... |
| Interests | My Savior, my family, saving money, making money, investing money, decorating, and of course, sewing. :) I have many interests...sometimes I wish reincarnation was real so I could do all the things I'm interested in. There are so many things I would like to do with my life. Fortunately, not much scares me. I'll try just about anything. |

| Favorite music | Uhm, whatever Eric loads onto iTunes? I prefer praise music to CCM, and there are a few secular artists I like. I really enjoy Philips, Craig and Dean. I always have something playing in our home. It helps me to keep an attitude of praise and reminds me that the Lord is always with me. |
| Favorite books | I'll read just about anything - I don't enjoy foul language so I will put something down if it doesn't pass the acceptable mark in my mind. The books I will read and re-read are: Anything Jane Austen The Millionaire Next Door The Millionaire Mind The Atonement Child A few John Grishams I'm drawing a blank for more...there is a bookcase next to my bed if that explains anything. |
