| Introduction | Creative spirit, wander-lust, animal and nature lover, music lover, strong family ties. I love to paint, draw, collage, make assemblages and especially love mixed media, altered art jewelry making. Art is my outlet. I experiment frequently with new techniques and media. I learn new techniques and use of different media through art books and magazines. The posts here are mostly about the fun I have creating artsy stuff. |
| Interests | Things I love after God, family and country are: animals, art, music, travel, educational programs (can you say "NERD"?), reading and academia (if I'd been born rich, I'd be a perenial student - again, "NERD") I love making artsy things like artist trading cards, altered art assemblages, mixed media art pieces and jewelry making. I am constantly trying new techniques and experimenting with new media. I love my art supplies, I gotta tell ya. I'm kinda addicted to purchasing all kinds of supplies but guess what? I use them all! |
| Favorite movies | Well that's sort of ecclectic too - I like a deep thought provoking drama but I also like a cute romantic comedy, a breathtaking epic, a good "whodunnit", a silly comedy or a great sci fi adventure. For example, some of my favorites are "Star Wars", "French Kiss", "Harold & Kumar" and "Pearl Harbor". |
| Favorite music | I love music, especially alternative and rock but I listen to almost every genre. I try to go to concerts whenever a band or artist I like is in town. I'd rather listen to music than watch television any day. |
| Favorite books | My favorite books are A Passage to India, The Namesake, The Twentieth Wife - whoa, I read a lot books about India. Just realized that. Huh. |
