| Introduction | I was born and raised in Washington, DC. There I attended Duke Ellington School of the Arts High School where I was a Visual Arts major. After graduating in 2002, I enrolled at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA, majoring in Painting & Printmaking. I graduated and received my Bachelors in Fine Arts in December 2006. In February 2008 a number of my works were featured in a month-long solo exhibit at Northern Virginia Community College, Manasas Campus. I have since gone on to show work at Richmond's First Fridays Arts Walk among other smaller venues. | Favorite movies | Godfathers I and II, original Star Wars Trilogy, first 3 Indiana Joneses, Goodfellas, Casino, Scarface, Dog Day Afternoon, Taxi, Ghostbusters, Christopher Reeve's Superman movies, Mystic River, Million Dollar Baby, Ray, and on and on. |
| Favorite music | My musical holy trinity:Prince, Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder. Then you got, a lot of ol' school R&B from Motown, OJs, EWF, Aretha to Luther, James Ingrahm, or Jeffrey Osborne of the 80's. I also love Chaka Khan and a lot of Whitney Houston. The classic rock, including Led Zepplin, Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton the Eagles, Sting The Police. Softer stuff: Hall & Oates, Billy Joel, Chicago, on and on and on. |
| Favorite books | Classics: , The Pearl, Of Mice and Men, The Giver, Moby Dick, Mark Twain stuff. Recently: 72 Hr. Hold by Bebe Campbell Moore, Cane River by Lalita Tademy A Mercy by Toni Morrison, love all her stuff. Buffalo Gordon by J.P. Sinclair Lewis and many more. |
