| Introduction | i'm a twenty-three-year-old. a choose your own adventure kind of person. likes: international issues, art, contemporary design, written & spoken word, cities, poetry, beat poets, eccentrics, fresh air, Brasil, Germany, Latin America, Asia. | Interests | (goals within the next five years): backpack in Denali National Park of Alaska, be a mentor to teens, write a senior thesis, build up a beginning art portfolio, be a grad student, do something significant for the young LGBT community. new goals list. *in progress* go to grad school. play on a sports team. coach a younger sports team. move to a place i really love. speak fluent portuguese. accept ecuador for all that it is. travel to india to pray. meet tina fey. write at least two full albums of music. soft music. folk music. see brand new live. embrace change. affect lives. give my sister a wonderful gift. listen to as much folk music as possible. study more in-depth history. climb a bigger mountain than laurel falls. visit portland, oregon. interview someone very old. run an 8-minute mile. switch careers out of the blue, affect the lives of at least 10 kids significantly, move randomly, find somewhere somehow that i actually love, stay in california, organically farm in a different country, adopt a pet, fill my room with inspirational and useful things |
