Introduction This documentary will explore the collaboration of Mexican publisher Antonio Vanegas Arroyo (1852-1917) and printmaker Jose Guadalupe Posada (1852-1913) with an aim to record and acknowledge their collective influence on art and social movements. Their work revealed much about our nature as humans, including the disparity between rich and poor, political corruption and through the now famous calaveras, our very mortality. As curator of the privately held Brady Nikas Collection, formerly known as the New World Prints Collection, my mission is to protect, conserve the collection while educating and promoting the work and legacy of Posada. It is my hope that this film will help to inspire as well as educate.
