| Introduction | I grew up in the great state of Tennessee, graduating from Wayne County High School in 1984 and Middle Tennessee State University in 1988. I have been on active duty with the Air Force since January 1989, traveling to many parts of the United States and the world. I married my wife Leslie in 1995 and we have 2 wonderful children, Grace (10) and Will (8). I will complete my Ph.D. in Curriculum & Instruction from Texas A&M University in December 2008, and will be reassigned to Maxwell Air Force Base to finish my Air Force career as an instructor at the Air Command and Staff College. I will begin what should be my final operational deployment in October 2008 when I begin a 1-year tour of duty in Iraq as a Logistics Planning Officer for the Multinational Security Transition Team Headquarters in Baghdad. This is my second tour of duty in Texas, which also happens to be my wife's home state. I find myself becomming attached to Texas and aspiring to be a true Texan. |
