| Introduction | Cindy(CC Gal)is a lifelong learner, North Cascades Park Ranger and Skagit Valley landowner. Childs Creek is a community permaculture property and the first Conservation Reserve Enhancement Project in Skagit County. 8,000 native trees and plants restore 13.4 acres of the farm protecting a coho salmon run, native riparian habitats and water and air quality. CCGal explored art, architecture, civil engineering, math and science in her youth. At 19 she discovered her place in Washington, where she completed college studies in Environmental Studies and Communications. She especially enjoys mentoring others and sharing about sustainable living on our planet. She loves deepening her understanding of the North Cascades and traveling with family and friends while exploring, comparing and contrasting our earth's variety. CC Gal acts locally while holding a global worldview. She initiated a National Parks exchange program to Australia and hosted two exchanges to the North Cascades with her ranger friends from Down Under. |
