| Introduction | I am a child of God who had great plans for life, but found that God’s plans were greater. I am a daughter, a sister, a momma to a sweet little fur child named Wilson. I am on hiatus from the corporate world while I pursue my true passion of writing which also means being a starving artist! I am an adventurer who has lived life too safely. I am something a little different every day. I am, each day, becoming more of the person God intended me to be. As a child I wrote little stories. As a teenager my English teachers praised my writing. As a young adult ready to take the world by storm being a writer wasn’t considered the way to financial success. So, I pursued other things and found that even though I was successful and enjoyed these pursuits they didn’t fulfill that deep desire. I realize now that’s because God gave me a talent and He didn’t want me to bury it in a field. Today, I write here on my blog, I am working on my skills through the mentoring program at the Christian Writers Guild, and I am slowly working on the books I have bouncing around inside of me. I know now that success is not measured in dollars, but in the moments lived in God’s will. |
