| Interests | I love Japan and all things kawaii. One day soon, I hope to move there for awhile by hopefully getting a job teaching English. I am finishing up my degree now. I also love Italy and the Amalfi Coast. I can't wait to start traveling! |
| Favorite movies | I LOVE all of Hiyao Miyazaki's movies (Studio Ghibli). The first one I ever saw was Spirited Away and I was instantly hooked. I now also have Castle in the Sky, My Neighbor Totoro, Ponyo, Kiki's Delivery Service, Nausica, Howl's Moving Castle, and Princess Mononoke. The animation is breathtaking and the stories totally transport you to another place. There are plenty of other movies I love, but I could not recommend Miyazaki's movies higher! |
| Favorite music | I like everything from Linkin Park and Fort Minor to Snow Patrol and Paulson to Tori Amos and Gwen Steffani. I'm all over the place musically. Really the only things I don't like are twangy country music and screaming heavy metal. |
| Favorite books | Memoirs of a Geisha, the English Patient, Gaijin, Interview with a Vampire...there's so many really. I used to read constantly before I went back to school. Now when I get a chance to read, I love old books like A Tale of Two Cities, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, Gulliver's Travels, Wuthering Heights, and anything by H.G. Wells and Jules Verne, just to name a few. |
