| Introduction | hello. my name is Nancy and i am NOT fancy. my 2 daughters like to be but they did not get that from me. i am an oxymoron. i am a loud and very open introvert. i cuss and i laugh at/make inappropriate jokes but i dress modestly and blush easily. I prefer small groups of people or one on one time with friends (hate a crowd) but grew up doing anything that involved the stage... i am pretty much a freakin hott mess. |

| Interests | instead of writing a list of things that i wish i had time to be interested in, i'm gonna keep it real and write what interests me on a daily basis: the well-being of my family, “business time” with D (that stands for Derek, *wink wink*), praying to Jesus because my innate inner narrative can be the pits, reading portions of books until i get bored, and paying the bills (shout out to my fellow boss moms). oh! and living room dance parties. *raises the roof in a very cool way like a cool, hip gal then laughs at self* |
| Favorite movies | friday. no, that's not supposed to say friday night lights, i've never seen that movie. i meant "friday." it's the movie i watched over and over as a child. i quote it well. probably not the audience ice cube had in mind when making it but it has been my movie since the 4th grade... and you know this, man! |
| Favorite music | music makes the people come together. I freaking love music. from broadways to hip hop to folk to blues to all the indie jams i lived off of in college. |
| Favorite books | The B-I-B-L-E...roll your eyes if you must. i’m good with it. memoirs, cookbooks with realistic recipes for people like me who cook just to eat and don’t enjoy the process of making a meal, children's books about being brave, kind, and a decent human. |
