Introduction	I am a 60-something grandmother of 5 and am planning to retire in OMG 6 months (early retirement at 62!) I have all kinds of plans to keep me busy and ultimately more self-sufficient, including starting a garden, and my own blog.

Favorite movies	Terms of Endearment, Poltergiest, any Diane Lane movie, horror films - the grosser the better :), Chocolat, The Secret Life of Bees, the Sarah Plain and Tall series.
Favorite music	Beatles, Adele, Joni Mitchell, Rita Coolidge, Ricki Lee Jones, Carol Bayer Sager, James Taylor, The Cars, Moody Blues (saw them in concert!)
Favorite books	Sophie's Choice (read it twice!), Home is Where the Heart Is (also read twice!), Secret Life of Bees, any Luanne Rice, will add more when I can remember them all!
