Introduction	Among my titles, I claim those of mother, teacher, and now runner. After numerous attempts at a blog title that would reflect who I am and my current journey, I settled on a meaningful running experience that sums up my life at the moment, crossing the finish line at Race for the Cure. I am a cancer survivor, and I wear the pink survivor shirt. I am humbled by the number of pink shirts I see at this race. As we cross the finish line, we are handed a flower in celebration. Life is good, and there are so many things that can throw it off track, cancer being only one of them. I want to run the good race, metaphorically speaking, and get that rose at the end - a celebration of a life well-lived. Wishing my readers a rose at the end of their journey.
