| Introduction | Most of my life has been dedicated to the fields of art and spirituality. I have a BA in religious studies and an MA in historical theology from Boston College and I have several certifications including interior design. I began designing meditation and prayer spaces as part of my work as a chaplain (which I did for over a decade and continue as a Unitarian Universalist candidate for ministry). When my husband and I bought our first home, I translated that work into daily life by creating a home that could be a genuine refuge and place of rejuvenation. After finishing that house, people started hiring me to help them with theirs so I went to design school to learn better how to transform a house into a dynamic self-portrait of the people who live there. |
