| Introduction | Diekola Shittu, was born in Lagos Nigeria in the 80’s. He attended Nigerian Airport Authority Staff School, Ikeja for his nursery and primary education. He went to Ikeja High School and Folbim High School for his Secondary education, both in Lagos, Nigeria. He studied Civil Engineering at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria for 2years before moving to Toronto, Canada in January 2006 to study Electro-Mechanical Engineering Tech- Automation and Robotics program at Centennial College, Toronto where he obtained his Ontario College Diploma.
In 2008, he began writing poetry and since then has written over 100 poems. He has also written a couple of stories, several magazine articles and many songs. His other passions include Sports, Music and most passionate about God. Diekola (popularly know and referred to as DK) is often the shy and reserved type, but he loves to make positive impact in peoples lives and bring out the best in them when given the opportunity.
