Introduction	I grew up in Southern California (a mile from the beach - awww) and came to Utah for college and haven't left. I have a strong desire to get back to the basics and learn how to survive off the land. Through the years I have had people ask me to share with them some of the skills I have learned in long-term food storage and food preparation. I am no professional, but I do have fun trying new things. These things I will share with you on Thursdays and Fridays on Saddleup's blog. I am married, have 4 married children and 4 grandkids - and counting.
