Introduction I am an African-American psychologist, family therapist and creative writer, raised in the South and the Northeast. I am blessed to also be the mother of two grown children, a daughter and son. In my many years as a therapist, I have taken a special interest in understanding and healing the emotional pain of people of African descent, myself included. Being on my own healing journey and supporting others on theirs gives meaning to my life, and is an offering to my ancestors who have and do contribute so much, to the boundless presence of Divine Spirit, and to our beautiful children here today and coming. I also love to laugh, to dance, take photos, knit, and visit a lake nearby.
