| Introduction | What I care about most is the well-being of young people. I have met with so many students who amaze me. Contrary to some of the negative images of teens and young adults, the students I see are smart, creative, and resilient. Many of you have worked very hard, beating the odds, to be accepted into the university of your choice. Unfortunately, just kicking open the doors to college isn't enough. You have to learn many skills to keep those doors open. My hope for you is that you will find your place in school, the tools you need to succeed there and, ultimately, the joy of crossing that stage and receiving your diploma. That is the vision I hold for each of you! |
