| Introduction | I am proud to be a teacher and this will be my 30th year. I still get excited and there are butterflies in my stomach on the first day of school. I want the kids in my class to enjoy school. My goal is for every one of my third graders to leave my room motivated to learn and with a smile on their face eager to return every day. |

| Favorite movies | My favorite movies are romantic comedies. Movies like Pretty Woman, When Harry Met Sally, Sleepless in Seattle. I have many new favorites and love to go to the theater to see them. |
| Favorite music | I like all kinds of music. From the Beatles to Mozart. I like groups like Keane and Queen. I love Pitbull, not a big fan of country music, but it's growing on me. |
| Favorite books | Books have a big impact on me and they stay with me for a long time.. I read lots of children's books. The Pete the Cat books are my favorite series right now. I'm trying to own every story in the series. |
