Introduction | College is over. I am headlong into the so-called "adult years" where I'm supposed to find my career, get married, have kids, and find out the meaning of life. In the meantime, I plan to help all you 30-somethings figure yourself out. I'm also what you call an eclectic girl, maybe a little effervescent, but there's no point in wasting life being stiff and rigid. HAVE FUN AND LIVE |
Interests | I love to watch movies. Lots of movies. Maybe not the type you have to seek out at obscure movie theaters, but I would say I see quite a bit of movies. I also love to write, which seems to be obvious considering I have a blog, have a B.A. in Journalism, am an editor at a magazine, and have talked numerous times about my book. Friends of course are very big in my life. They take up a lot of my time and I gladly give it to them. Family is wonderful as well. I love wakeboarding, skiing, reading, walking around Lake Calhoun, I dunno... mostly being active except on days I don't want to be. |
Favorite Books | A Tree Grows in Brooklyn, Lucky, The Lovely Bones, A Northern Light, For Such a Time as this, Gang of One, The Giver, Fahrenheit 451, Beyond the Picket Fence, Life of Pi, Spilling Clarence, My Year of Meats, Lucky, basically anything I've ever read. |
Sponges and tongues are frequently misspelled. Is it because both are thirsty?
No, it's because people didn't learn their ABC's early on. And they don't read. Seriously! I was at an event giving out bookmarks and only two people told me they were excited. The rest told me that reading sucks. Sad sad day
