| Introduction | Although I strive to be an optimist, by nature, I'm a realist. I can't coat the real world in sugar to make it easier to swallow. I don't say that behind someone's back which I'm not willing to say to his or her face. I love life in its entirety, *wanting* to experience it as a whole -- willing to accept the bad with the good, and always striving for balance. I am baffled by many things; frightened by others, but I can also be fierce and fearless. I take my devotion as a friend as seriously as I do being a wife (unless, of course, I'm joking). I'm newly married to a wonderful man. I suffer from Chronic Fatigue and Fibromyalgia, also PTSD with bouts of depression. God created Oreos for me, and me alone. However, I'm generous enough to share them. I find blogging is like having an external hard drive: it's the easiest way to store the thoughts I'd otherwise forget within 10 minutes of having them. |
