Introduction	My life has changed so much in the matter of a CT scan, when my youngest daughter Madeleine was taken to the emergency room to confirm hydrocephalus in her brain indicating something far greater was wrong at the tender age of 11 weeks. I've since become a makeshift bedside nurse, social worker for my family, unemployed blogger, medical terminology novice and cancer awareness advocate all to do everything in my power to save my daughter's life.
