Introduction | Hi, I'm Sandi! So, you actually want to know more about me? Well, here goes! I seem to be so good at multi-tasking & wear many hats! I'm a mom & grandma, one of the ministry leaders at Valley Word Church in Roanoke, Virginia, a freelance writer and a nurse. The Lord Jesus is my very reason for living. I have a background as an LPN and as a Tissue Recovery Team Leader (for the Organ & Tissue Recovery agency here in Virginia). But aside from that, I've worked all phases of construction from digging footers to plumbing to electrical to roofing. I've owned a lawn service, a feed store, and a house painting business. I've flipped lots of hamburgers; delivered pizzas, and I've even helped do some minor auto body repair (gotta love Bondo!) and painting a LONG time ago. I've been stranded in a raft in the Everglades overnight, traveled to 12 other countries...usually by myself, & have a goal to visit every country out there. (The more adventure, the better!) I have a passion for missions & am going back to Uganda Feb 2011 for 2 weeks. |
