| Introduction | I am a strong, confident and independent woman in my 40's with a loving, supportive and extremely rewarding family network. I have shared my life with my husband for 30 years and we have four amazing daughters. I see my wonderful life of the past 30 years as my reward for the 15 or so that came before them. I am studying to be a midwife now, after having several jobs, and one career, which was in television. I enjoyed the industry, but was glad to leave after 12 years. Just quietly though, sometimes I miss the television industry and the excitement surrounding it. No regrets though. Definitely!!! This blog was to be about my lap band journey, and I guess it is, and it has been. But due to medical reasons [that you can read about in past blogs], I have had to have my lap band removed. This blog will continue to journal my life's stories, some of which will no doubt be tempered by the absence of the band. I hope you enjoy reading my stories, and my take on life. I like to keep it positive, so you usually won't leave my blog feeling down...I hope you go away with a smile on your face...that would give me pleasure. xoxox Tracey |

| Favorite books | Robin Hobb 'the assassins son' series, and 'the liveship' series. Amazing!!! Again, many many more. We have a reading room in our home,that is how much we as a family love books. I will post a piccie one day. |
