| Introduction | I have been married for almost 35 years to a wonderful man and I have three grown beautiful children of which two have special needs. My daughter Amy(33) has a dual diagnosis of Down Syndrome and Autism and my son David(25)has Autism but is high functioning. I have been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. At first I had a difficult time adjusting to the chronic pain and different lifestyle that came with it but now it is just a part of who I am. Life is challenging to say the least but through it all, my husband and I have learned that taking things a day at a time is important while maintaning a sense of humor! Our strength comes from God as we lean on Him to help us make it through each day. I love to write romantic poetry and collect postcards and seashells. My favorite color is all shades of purple and I love to read and to watch romantic movies...ok, so I am a sap at heart! lol |
