| Introduction | I realize with great joy how precious life is. We are afraid to say our age; we live in such a youth obsessed culture, yet none of us want to die young. I am a social worker. I work part-time due to a spinal injury that has left me with seizures and chronic pain. I am beginning to feel braver and see my "fate" as a challenge, but it has taken me 16 mo's to get here. I love my kids,and my friends. After being injured I found that my friends were really my friends. My children have been amazing too. I work for a program that advocates for abused/neglected children. This is my first blog-inspired because: I was saddened by the death of my favorite male singer: DAN FOGELBERG. Dan was amazing. He sang from a place, where very few can find; from an insightful heart. He sculpted music with an amazing ability to articulate. I have been rediscovering his music,sadly, because of his passing. Although I appreciate so many genres of music, I also love another singer/songwriter: AMY GRANT. She's great! Amy also is able to articulate beautifully the questions of life; sings sweet as an angel. I've even met her once : ) GOD BLESS YOU ALL> |
