| Introduction | I learned to sew as a child. Mom started me out making simple quilt blocks, then as I mastered those, she taught me more. When my oldest daughter was small, I made all of her clothes. When my second daughter was born, I did some sewing, but as I got busier, the sewing machine didn't get much use except for mending as I raised a family and worked full time. Now retired with five grandchildren, I am rediscovering just how much I enjoy creating something from a piece of fabric. |
