| Introduction | I am a Solutions Architect in Wellington, New Zealand. I spend the majority of my time designing and implementing solutions in the Microsoft space. Mostly I specialize in Microsoft Exchange Server (2k3 to 2k10). I have developed quite a niche for Cross-Forest Migrations, usually 2k3 to 2k10. As of late, I am also finding myself learning and doing a lot with Lync Server 2010. It wasn't a big stretch to get into Lync. It integrates into Exchange UM. PowerShell commands are pretty similar. The hardest part really is all the planning around Enterprise Voice. I had a small advantage in that I've built a few Asterisk boxes and configured them for some small organizations. Should be some good fun progressing through this. I have finally decided to get back into blogging, so I thought I'd blog about my experiences in Lync, Exchange, C/F Migrations, and really any other IT tidbits I think might be interesting or helpful to someone. |
