IntroductionI've been around the computer scene since the early 1980s. My first computer was a TI99/4A, which turned into a C64, then an Amiga 500, Amiga 2000, and ultimately an endless string of mostly nameless, home-built PCs. I've been pretty involved in music for most of my life. I played violin from about second grade through high school. I started playing Bass guitar when I was in high school and was pretty active with that up until a couple of years ago. I've played bass guitar in several local bands over the years. They were all cover bands and ranged from hard rock, to bubblegum top 40, to late 90s modern rock. If I had a claim to fame with music, (and at the risk of being thought to be a BS'er), it would be that I was in a top 40 band with Gretchen Wilson about 14 or 15 years ago. She was blond and almost completely unknown outside of the local bar scene back then.
