Harvard College, Fulbright Scholar, Univ of Tx School of Law. 1967 Cambridge, Massachusetts - Coordinated community education effort addressing the Vietnam War. 1970s Executive Director, Urban Coalition of Metropolitan San Antonio, father, William Sinkin, Chairman. Brought together business, environmental, activist, and others to address urban challenges. Co-founded the Aquifer Protection Association with mother, Fay Sinkin, to protect Edwards Aquifer. Legal – argued for Whales to have standing to sue in their own right and pursued racketeering charges against the private covert operation in the Iran-contra scandal. Lived in Hawai'i for seventeen years. Provided legal advice to Hawaiian sovereignty movement and to a traditional Hawaiian religion emerging from hiding after 120 years. Sued to protect Whales from U.S. Navy sonar testing and challenge NASA’s use of plutonium in deep space exploration missions. February 2013 Executive Director of Solar San Antonio, father founder and Chairman. Encourages the use of solar energy through public policies, regulatory and financial mechanisms, public education, and implementing marketing strategies.
