| Introduction | Born San Antonio, Texas. Brought together business, environmental, activist, and others to address urban challenges. Co-founded the Aquifer Protection Association with mother, Fay Sinkin, to protect Edwards Aquifer. Legal – argued for Whales to have standing to sue in their own right and pursued racketeering charges against the private covert operation in the Iran-contra scandal. Lived in Hawai'i for seventeen years. Provided legal advice to Hawaiian sovereignty movement and to a traditional Hawaiian religion emerging from hiding after 120 years. Sued to protect Whales from U.S. Navy sonar testing and challenge NASA’s use of plutonium in deep space exploration missions. Encourages the use of solar energy through public policies, regulatory and financial mechanisms, public education, and implementing marketing strategies. |
