| Introduction | I am Andrew Zalasky. Writing and design have been my passions since I was a youngster and my profession since before I was even getting paid to do it. I have been fortunate in my career to work in a variety of communications fields, beginning in the newspaper business as an editor, reporter and photographer, in television, and for 10 glorious years leading the marketing and communications function at a medical center in the Midwest. In each of these stops, I was given the opportunity to be creative and pick up skills that have served me – and will now serve you – well. To supplement my practical experience, I have a bachelor’s degree in Communication Arts from Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa and a master’s degree in Public Administration from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa. |
