Introduction	I have been a fishing addict my whole life. When I was a kid, I would wake up before sunrise just so that I could fish a pond near my house and catch brim on the fly....then go back to bed!! I got into rod building when I wanted a better 8wt but felt that there had to be more options than what was at my local fly shop. When I found out about rod building, I was hooked right away. To me, the two best reason to build a rod is quality and customization. Rod builders tend to stay ahead of the game when it comes to the latest and greatest materials.
