| Introduction | Former NFL Player, Youth Sports Coach (Football, Soccer, Softball, Basketball), Social Worker for young adults at a Missoula, Montana Mental Health Organization, Staff Worker at a Missoula, Montana Children's Shelter and proud father of two beautiful daughters, Kelsey and Taylor. Played Varsity Football, Basketball and Baseball in high school in Southern California--voted Athlete of the Year. Played Running Back for the San Diego State Aztecs--voted MVP for the 1978 season. Played tight end and special teams with the 1979 and 1980 Redskins--career was cut short by back and shoulder injuries. Even though I played almost every position on the field and received many athletic awards, I feel like I am finally doing the most important work of my life—which is promoting my belief that youth sports can provide opportunities for physical, mental and social growth that reach far beyond the playing field. Glenn and I have spent the last 3 years laying the groundwork for our youth sports program, 1st and Goals, which is built on the principles of Leadership, Teambuilding and Communication. |
