IntroductionWho am I? A son, a brother, a father; a sports nut, a one-time journalist, a part-time semi-professional classical vocalist, a full-time funeral director ("I see dead people!"), a nascent voice actor, and perhaps a future college professor; a music lover, an avid thespian, a voracious reader; a quasi-polyglot, an ambulatory lexicon, a sesquepedalian; a lover of cats, reptiles, interesting insects and plants, and nature in general; a wanna-be amateur photographer, amateur architect and amateur lots of other things; an editor and a critic (of myself as much as anyone else), and pretty much a perfectionist about anything I really care about; a procrastinator... when I get around to it; a minor obsessive-compulsive, according to those who know me well (but I really don't think so; I'm just really, really particular about a few things, like the way I cut slices of cheese so they perfectly cover the entire slice of bread for instance, or how I smooth out wrinkles on just about everything); and--according to my brother--an exotic happleshmackie named "Snose."

Your bow is not broken but you've run out of arrows. How can you fake being a bard?

The literalist in me replies: If you're trying to fake being a bard, then you've probably got the wrong kind of bow if you're worrying about being out of arrows. A creative man would sing a little ditty or tell a story of how he lost his fiddle and was only left with the bow... but then he wouldn't really have need to be faking, would he? Arthur Dent would boggle.
