Introduction	We make our home on 100 acres in rural southwest Missouri, in the house where my husband was born. We have raised 6 kids, and have been blessed even more with 7 beautiful grandkids. My career path has led me from newspapers, to nonprofits, to wholesalers, to a federal agency and finally, to higher ed. For the last 6+ years I've happily worked at a local private university. And when I get a few free minutes, I'm puttering in the gardens, treasure hunting at flea markets, yard sales, or thrift stores, or tackling a new DIY project.

Favorite movies	I don't watch many - but I guess since I've watched Oh Brother Where Art Thou? at least 3 times that would count as a favorite.
Favorite music	My tastes are varied - Motown is big on my list with Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder and many more. Nat King Cole, 70's bands like the Eagles and Fleetwood Mac, Eric Clapton, Billy Joel, Bonnie Raitt, Norah Jones, Restless Heart...yes, very varied!
Favorite books	How-to books - such as those showing "How To" do mosaic, create treasures from trash, gardening, decorating, etc.
