| Introduction | I’ve been a published writer since 1987. My essays, articles and columns have appeared in more than 40 publications including The New York Post, The New York Times, The Bergen Record, The Journal News, The Asbury Park Press, Time Out New York, Crain’s New York Business, Inside Magazine and New Jersey Monthly. During a ten-year newspaper career in New Jersey, I covered everything: environmental battles, politics, breaking news, tragedies, oddball features. In my reporting, one thing remains consistent: a sharp eye for the human condition. I turned my keen observer skills inward in 2005 when I moved from Manhattan to a New York suburb. I write the monthly ‘Burb Appeal’ column for The New York Post that chronicles my experiences in suburbia. I am at work on a memoir. |
