Introduction	I am a high school French teacher in California. Six years ago Saugus High School Principal Bill Bolde and I started the Saugus High School - GaoXin No. 1 High School China Exchange Program. Our exchange involves a group of Chinese sophomore students and their teacher/chaperone spending the fall semester at Saugus High School while living with host families in our community. Each summer we send a group of our students (who have studied Chinese) along with a teacher/chaperone to study in Xi'an, China for two months. We all live with host families and attend school daily. This blog will serve to communicate our activities with the students' families and friends - and with my family. :)
