Introduction "My hope is built on nothing less / Than Jesus' blood and righteousness / I dare not trust the sweetest frame / But wholly lean on Jesus' name. On Christ the solid rock I stand / All other ground is sinking sand." My name is Melanie; I am 18, a daughter, sister, authoress, editor, seamstress, American Girl collector, pianist and guitarist-wannabe, Jane Austen fan... Some of my dreams are to travel to Europe and India, be a missionary at home or abroad, be a wife and mother... but most of all to be like Christ, to "rise above" and have a day-by-day, moment-by-moment relationship with Him that reflects in my attitudes, actions, words, and emotions. Because it doesn't really matter who *I* am, but that He is, and that we have the relationship with Him for which we were created.
