Your bow is not broken but you've run out of arrows. How can you fake being a bard?

... what? Isn't a bard a musically-oriented profession? Why would running out of arrows for your bow prevent you from being a REAL bard? Well unless you have no musical talent, like me. I don't even think you can fake being a bard in that case withing breaking several laws.
