Introduction	I picked the quote above from Justice Louis Brandeis because of my belief that too much of what determines our reality is shrouded in secrecy by vested interest and that in our information age even a humble observer such as myself, who is trying to connect the dots, can try to shed some light on what is happening at the intersection of economics, politics and power. I first studied psychology and political science, and then focused my attention on business, finance and economics, certain that knowledge of the former is necessary for understanding the latter.
