| Introduction | I've always loved planting, tasting and cooking the vegetables grown in my family's garden. The flavours of those vegetables completely overwhelm anything you can find on a supermarket shelf - those poor impostures! Back in the day, most houses had a little plot of land dedicated to a vegetable garden. I don't know what happened, maybe they went out of fashion, but we've since favoured a burnt out, water thirsty piece of lawn over a productive plot of land. Times are changing. The Veggie Patch is back! |
