Introduction I am a young-at-heart artist, mother, and grandmother. I lost my darling husband, Chris, in 2018, so, sadly, I must add widow to my description. I grew up in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, nestled between the Appalachian and Blue Ridge Mountains. I received my bachelor's degree in British Studies from Mary Baldwin College and spent my third year of university studying in Bath, England. (For anyone familiar with what is now Mary Baldwin University, I have to point out that I attended MBC when it repeatedly was ranked highly on lists of best liberal arts colleges and private women's college and back when their admission rate was not a shameful 100 percent.) I live in my beloved Scotland, having returned after a short stint back in the States. This is my home and here I will stay. I have three incredible grown children (my daughter Callie and Chris' daughter Lucy and son Olly) and I am the very proud Nana of Catherine and Alice and of my son-in-law Stuart's daughter Paige. I am also mama to my fur baby, Roxie.
