Introduction	Growing up in the 70's and 80's, I often felt that I had missed an important time in our country's social and political evolution. I waxed nostalgic for the sixties when young people redefined our nation's priorities. Our current refusal to deal with Global Warming is so discouraging, yet what an important time to be active, vocal, even hopeful... To paraphrase the environmental activist Starhawk> it is a privilege to live in a time when one person's voice can make such a difference. I hope we each rise to the challenge.
