Introduction	Ever since a young age, Manuela Antakly has been passionate for sound. She is half Middle Eastern, half Latin and has had the fortune to be raised in different cities that have influenced her taste in music. Having attended boarding school in England, she was exposed and attracted to the ‘UK’ sound. Magazines such as “The Face” and “ Sky” influenced her interest in pop culture, fashion, club life and dj’s worldwide. She later attended University of Maryland, where her interest in hip hop grew immensely particularly with “Go Go” and “Baltimore Club” style of music. She currently is involved in promoting “Nouveau Riche” a monthly event produced by Dj’s Steve Starks and dj Nacey, and Gavin Holland that spin house, hip hop and Baltimore club music.
