About me

Occupation Butter Bar
Introduction I blog to stay in touch with family and friends who I don't see every day. Maybe it is presumptious of me to think they care what I am doing with my life, but I think it anyway. I am a people person, and try and keep the sun shining wherever I go. I had a fellow soldier tell me to "grow where you are planted," and make the most of every situation.I try to do just that. I am very energetic, and love trying new things. I discovered while attempting to figure out my calling in college, that sitting behind a desk was definitely not for me. I love to teach, and have a dream of coaching. I am lighthearted until annoyed, and liberally use sarcasm on a regular basis. If I sit for too long I am guaranteed to get ansy, which generally transfers to what I say, making me sound slightly crazed and spastic. As for a way to categorize me I am a girl(pretty obvious), a daughter, sister, cousin, granddaughter, niece, babysitter, girlfriend, runner, swimmer, soldier, triathlete, friend, College of William and Mary alum, KKG, neighbor, triathlete, traveler, reader, student, hungry, old-fashioned, family oriented, dog lover, outdoorsy, athlete, beer consumer, open book, and Minnesotan.
Favorite Music Not really picky...if I can't understand what they are saying I am not usually a fan.
Favorite Books Way too many to list.

Why is it, that so many Americans think if they speak louder to people who do not speak English they will suddenly be understood?
