| Introduction | I was born in Panama City, Panama but grew up in the western mountains of Chiriqui until my family emmigrated to the United States when I was but a wee lad of 5. Or 6. Since then I've lived in the hispanic ghetto fab paradise of West New York, NJ and have enjoyed going down to the shore during the hot humid summers. Well, the years when the summers turn out to be hot and humid, anyways. I've always been keen to drawing and when I was younger I dreamt of being a character designer for a big Japanese role-playing video game company. It wasn't until I picked up a Japanese comic book (manga) at the age of 17 that I, with boiling blood searing through my veins pumped by a burning heart, made a pledge to become just like these comic artists (mangaka) that had so set my dreams ablaze! And now I'm here at SCAD. I love drawing, reading comics, listening to great music and eating good food. |
